Our basic course consists of six three-hour sessions. You will be taught how to mix porcelain colours to obtain the right consistencies, as well as how to use and take care of your brushes. Flat brushes are mainly used in this style of porcelain painting and “open-medium” used to mix the paint (with this type of medium, after mixing with the porcelain power colours, the paint will stay wet for a day or two). Then you will be shown how to load colour onto the brush so as to give shading in one stroke. You will be practicing straight strokes, angled strokes, c-strokes and comma strokes. details
