For those who enjoy sewing and embroidering, Hobby House offers a course in learning how to make a classic teddy bear out of mohair fabric. Mohair fabric are woolen fabric imported from England and Germany. You will learn the correct way to place and cut out patterns. Sewing will be hand-sewn in backstitch. You will be taught how to attach the eyes and limbs and how to embroider the bear face, i.e. the nose and mouth. Being hand-made, no two bears will have the same expressions. The classic teddy bears are collectors’ items and can be identified by their long arms and a hump at the back of their necks. After completing the basic teddy bear making course, you will be the proud owner of a 10-inch classic teddy bear.


Teddy Bear Making is taught by Pornvimol Distakul.

For this course, please make an advance reservation at your convenience. The lesson will take place between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., or you can divide the lesson into two half-days.

Tuition fee for members 3,800 baht +7% VAT. Tuition fee for general public 4,200 baht + 7% VAT.
